MINORS Schengen Visa (C Type)

No liability can be accepted for application rejected as a consequence of the applicant not complying with the requirements outlined in the ESSENTIAL INFORMATION page, therefore please make sure you read it in full before applying, and in particular the relevant section for each item marked with * (click HERE).

  1. Duly completed Schengen Visa (C Type) application form*;
  2. Valid passport or travel document* (original & photocopy);
  3. Valid U.K. Residence Permit/Card* (original & photocopy);
  4. Photocopies of all previous Schengen visas issued in the last 5 years (if previous Schengen visas are endorsed in an old passport, then photocopies of the old passport must also be provided);
  5. 1 recent, colour passport size photo*
  6. Full birth certificate* showing parents’ names, (original & photocopy);
  7. Written consent from both parents granting permission to travel*;
  8. Recent (not older than one month) original school/nursery attendance letter on headed paper, duly signed by the School Headmaster;

    PLEASE NOTE
    Letters addressed “to whom it may concern” will not be accepted, your letter must be signed with the signee’s name and position. Please ensure the heading of your letter reads as follows: to the attention of “Consulate General of Italy for Scotland and Northern Ireland”.

  9. Last three months of parents’ bank statements*;
  10. Travel ticket reservations*;
  11. Proof of accommodation*;
  12. Travel insurance*;
  13. Return Envelope*;
  14. Fees*: €80.00 for children between 12 and 18 years of age; €40.00 for children between 6 and 12 years of age; free of charge for children under 6 years of age;
