  1. VALID ITALIAN PROOF OF ID<\/strong> of the Italian parent\/grandparent<\/strong> (photocopies of passport or identity card). If deceased, present the last valid document in their possession;<\/li>\n
  2. FULL EXTRACT OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE<\/strong> (with indication of paternity and maternity) of the Italian parent\/grandparent<\/strong> issued by the competent Italian municipality (issued within six months from the date of the birth registration request);<\/li>\n
  3. CITIZENSHIP CERTIFICATE<\/strong> of the Italian parent\/grandparent <\/strong>issued by the competent Italian municipality (issued within six months from the date of the birth registration request);<\/li>\n
  4. SELF-CERTIFICATION OF RESIDENCES <\/b>by the Italian parent\/grandparent<\/strong>, download the form HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n
  5. If the Italian parent\/grandparent\u00a0<\/strong>was born<\/span> abroad,\u00a0DECLARATION OF NON ACQUISITION OF CITIZENSHIP* of the Italian parent\/grandparent <\/span><\/strong>in original, with apostille\/legalisation<\/span>, issued by the authorities of the country of birth. Regarding the United Kingdom, the Declaration of Non-Naturalization is issued for the period 1844\/September 1986 by The National Archives, and for the period after October 1, 1986, by the Home Office UK Border Agency.<\/li>\n
  6. If the the Self-decalration of Residencies indicates residences abroad<\/span>: DECLARATION OF NON-NATURALIZATION*<\/strong> in original, with apostille\/legalisation<\/span>, issued by the authorities of all the countries where the parent\/grandparent resided. Regarding the United Kingdom, the Declaration of Non-Naturalization is issued for the period 1844\/September 1986 by The National Archives, and for the period after October 1, 1986, by the Home Office UK Border Agency.<\/li>\n

Only if<\/span> the claim is through exclusive possession of Italian citizenship by grandparents<\/strong>: all original certificates of marriage<\/strong>\/civil partnership<\/strong>\u00a0and death certificate<\/strong>\u00a0(if applicable) of the Italian grandparent<\/span> &\u00a0all original certificates of b<\/strong>irth<\/strong>\u00a0(full extract), marriage<\/strong>\/civil partnership <\/strong>of the of the minor’s parent, who is a direct descendant of the Italian grandfather or grandmother, ALL issued by the competent Italian municipality<\/span> (within six months from the date of the birth registration request);<\/li>\n
