The Home Office is continuing to process applications to the EU Settlement Scheme during the current COVID-19 outbreak To apply EU citizens must prove their identity.
At the moment, applicants can only have their documents verified using the app as the document scanner locations are closed and the Home Office are not accepting documents by post. The Home Office are looking at ways of getting more staff to work remotely and hope to reopen a limited postal service soon.
