I am very proud to serve as Consul General of Italy in Edinburgh as of 1st July.
Together with the entire staff of the Consulate General, I will work to ensure that our Consulate General continues to strengthen its role as a trusted point of reference for Italian citizens in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Our goal is to provide increasingly efficient, accessible, and responsive consular services that meet the needs of our fellow citizens.
I also aim to further enhance the role of Italy House as a centre for the promotion of the Italian language, culture, and excellence, in close cooperation with the Italian Institute of Culture, and as a platform for supporting Italian businesses operating in the region, in synergy with the Embassy of Italy in London.
I will carry out this role with humility and determination, engaging with the Italian community, local authorities, and all friends and admirers of Italy, with the aim of further strengthening the close ties that unite us.
