While awaiting the official announcement from the INPS (National Institute for Social Security) regarding the launch of the second phase of the proof-of-Life verification for 2026–2027, we wish to inform all Italian pension recipients that the relevant certification can be already provided.
INPS pensioners residing within this Consular jurisdiction (Scotland/Northern Ireland) may complete the proof-of-Life procedure through this Consulate General or contacting our Honorary Consulates.
The certification can be obtained at our front desk. Applicants must appear in person, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 13:00 pm, in Italy House – 20-22 East London Street – Edinburgh EH7 4BQ.
No appointment is required. Please bring the form received from Citibank, along with a valid photo ID.
