We inform that a new consular fee for iure sanguinis citizenship applications, submitted by people over the age of 18 at any diplomatic post, is in effect from 1 January 2025. Paragraph 639 of the Budget 2025 (Law 30 December 2024, no. 207) determines that the consular fee ex art. 7 bis of the Annex to the Legislative Decree no. 71/2011 shall be increased from 300 euros to 600 euros.
