Due to the severe weather alert announced for the city of Edinburgh and the notices from local authorities to stay indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and the suspension of transport services, the Consulate General will be closed to the public on Friday 24th January 2025.

The emergency mobile phone number (07713 159 591) will be available from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM (this number is for Italian citizens only, for emergencies or life-threatening situations; calls regarding consular matters will not be considered).
Italian citizens with an appointment scheduled for Friday 24th January 2025 have already been contacted for rescheduling.
