- one of the following valid proof of new address:

Please Note: your name and surname and current address in Scotland or Northern Ireland must appear in the letter heading. If you cannot provide any one of the above listed proofs of address it will not be possible to process the AIRE registration request.
PLEASE NOTE
It is now available FastIt, a new online service to request a change of address within the same consular district. You only need to create an account and follow the instructions. Click on the image at side of this page for more information.
NOTE: following the introduction of Fast It, it is no longer possible to send change of address forms by email. Alternatively, you can still send change of address forms by post (NO email) at the following address:
AIRE Office
Italian General Consulate
Italy House
20-22 East London Street
Edinburgh – EH7 4BQ
The change of address is free. It is not required to come in person.
Please note: all inquiries about the status of AIRE changes of address applications should be directed to the appropriate Comune (Town Hall) in Italy, as it is the relevant body responsible for the Register of Italians Resident Abroad, not the Consulate General of Italy in Edinburgh.
